Cheetah Rock Stars -5yr- Cheetah Girl Outfits
Nashua, New Hampshire
This year for my daughters 5th birthday she wants a "Cheetah Girl" party after the Disney channel's The Cheetah girls. So we opted for the Rock star theme.
Our invitations were bought on clearance at IParty in purple and pink fashion with a shiny microphone on it. Both of which are her favorite colors. To encorporate the cheetah theme I'm using cheetah print fabric to wrap around the stem of the microphones I also bought on clearance.
My mom is going to make tube tops for the girls to wear made of what else...cheetah print fabric, and matching scrunchies to wear in their hair. Since her birhtday is in the summer and we'll hopefully be outside, we're building a stage/runway from recylced cardboard. It'll don flashy stars, a silver beaded curtain and of course a headliner "Cheetah Girls".
As the girls arrive they get dressed the star's dressing room (a designated area of the house), have their hair, nails and makeup done.
Then they'll decorate their own sunglass with stick on jewels bought for a dollar at Joann Fabric and crafts. I also found feather boa wrist cuffs in black that the gilrs can wear to dress up and strut their stuff on the stage. The cuffs are part of their goodie bags as are the tube tops, sunglasse, and scrunchies.
We're planning to play limbo, musical chairs and freeze dance.
The cake is actually going to be ice cream cone cup cakes decorated to resemble microphones.
The rest of the goodie bags will include a ring pop, a CD of the dance music from the party, and a lipgloss. Wish us luck!
